Bishop Vetter Update-27 March 2020
PARISH COVID-19 RESPONSE AND NEEDS
Yes we are in the midst of a crisis and the safety of all is paramount. May I also say that in times of crisis, people of faith rise to the occasion to the best of their abilities. We DO have some needs in our community and your help is needed if at all possible... Take your time reading this as there is a lot of information to share....
LOVE INC NEEDS PERSONAL PANTRY ITEMS

Here is the website https://loveincgc.org. There is also an online assistance request form they can do on it if that is easier.
Donations can be made at LOVE INC office 141 Discovery Dr, the church or can be sent to LOVE INC office from any delivery site (like Amazon, walmart, target etc). Thank you to parishioner Michelle Kaiser!Thank You

FORK AND SPOON (FORMERLY COMMUNITY CAFE)
The Fork & Spoon has transitioned to a take-out only model effective Tuesday, March 17. Operating hours will stay the same, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The lobby, eating area, and bathrooms will be closed to the general public. Patrons will use the front entrance to pick up food-to-go.
Please sign up with Will Wright below if you are HEALTHY and able to pick up and deliver meals from Fork and Spoon to those in need.
WHO NEEDS HELP?
We need your input to identify ANYONE who may be in need due to the isolation required and restrictions on travel outside the home. You can email me any name and phone number at frval@me.com only. I will call them and ask for an address and also assure them their information and request is confidential. We will deliver not to a name but an address to ensure the same. This can be of great assistance to the elderly, those families with new babies etc. No person will be denied regardless of their faith or not faith tradition. HOWEVER, we MUST have the volunteers to make it happen, especially those wishing to shop, deliver, pic up food boxes etc for our folks
.
Driver Volunteers-Will Wright
Consider being an "angel with wheels" to do some driving and delivering to folks unable to drive and pic up provisions. A few of our folks are near giving birth or have small children who need care during the day. Volunteers are needed to run the errands. If you are HEALTHY and are willing to shop and deliver to the same, please contact parishioner Will Wright at (208) 739-5836 OR willmwright1@gmail.com Will has offered to coordinate and match up drivers with requests. How great is that!
